The Comox Air Force Museum is in the process of restoring this Mark IX Spitfire aircraft, in 442nd squadron colours with callsign "Y2K". It will take over 5 years to return the aircraft to flying condition.

SAAF Museum, 19??.
- Hulk recovered from scrapyard.

- Restoration project at Honeydew, South Africa.

- Undergoing rebuild to airworthy as TE294/Y2-K.
